We repair and restore Cast Iron guttering wherever possible to maintain period properties.

We are able to supply replacement Cast Iron parts if you have damaged, cracked or corroded guttering or downpipes.

We have a selection of restored and reclaimed Cast Iron ornamental hoppers which we can supply if yours needs replacing.

Cast Iron is strong and elegant and has been the material of choice for guttering since Victorian times. When maintained correctly Cast Iron has incredible durability.

New Cast Iron

We can supply and fit new Cast Iron rainwater products if you would like new. These will be prepared and finished in a colour of your choice.

Maintenance

Clearing

With regular maintenance Cast Iron has a long life expectancy. We recommend an annual gutter clear to remove any build up of leaves, moss, plants and any other debris which could accumulate in your gutters, to avoid blockages which could lead to water getting into your home. We conduct all gutter clears from ladders, which also enables us to inspect the guttering and repair any issues.

Preserving Cast Iron

To preserve the condition and reduce the chance corrosion we recommend maintaining the paintwork of your Cast Iron products. It is also beneficial to have the Cast Iron Gutters lined with a waterproof liner to protect the product and prevent leaks.
